A recent Main Street Nature Park Workday benefited the Town of Weaverville and the birds and bees! Volunteers have regularly been removing exotic species, planting natives and maintaining a pollinator garden to the delight of many citizens who use this special place in downtown Weaverville. Next time you are strolling the streets of our sweet town, go check out their hard work and the peace you can find in the Main Street Nature Park.
Entrances can be found off of Pine Street where there is parking, at the back of the municipal parking lot behind the clock and also behind Town Hall.
If you are interested in volunteering check out Weaverville Wildlife Habitat on Facebook!
